Islington Cycling Club members have three official week day rides to chose from. All rides depart from Whittington Park at 6:30pm.
Radlett Revolution is our flatter weekly ride. The loop itself is 44km with around 400m elevation.
“North London Hills”
Our weekly hilly route which starts as it means to go on. A quick blast up Swains Lane to start and a challenging double of Ally Pally and Muswell Hill to finish, this loop is approximately 44km and has about 550m elevation.
Despite the name this ride is for all road bikes! This shorter ride is around 37km and features around 500m elevation over rolling terrain.
We have two regular weekend events - laps of Regent’s Park on Saturday and a variety of longer rides on Sunday.
Regent’s Park Laps
We have two sessions of laps of Regent’s Park. 7am laps are a very fast training session aimed at those who race, and we have a broader mix starting at 8am - everything from chat laps to hard training. We meet at the zoo and ride counter clock-wise
On Sunday, our member’s organise rides amongst themselves. Anything goes! We regular have short cafe runs or repeats of weekday rides, all the way up to epic centuries including runs to Brighton (and back!).
For more information on these rides, please check the members forum.
